  Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information SellLog collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

Mobile phone number – used to create and authenticate your account.
Business data – product listings, customer records, orders, invoices, and related images that you choose to upload for cloud backup.

1.3 Device permissions

Permissions are requested only when you use a feature that requires them. You may revoke permissions at any time in your device Settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Tencent Cloud (Hong Kong region). We chose Hong Kong as our hosting location because it operates under an independent legal framework (the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, PDPO) that is consistent with international privacy standards.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Account passwords are stored in hashed form and never in plain text.
We perform automated daily backups with a 7-day retention period.
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No internet transmission is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access – request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction – update inaccurate or incomplete data (available in-app via your profile page).
Deletion – request deletion of your account and associated data (available in-app via "Delete Account").
Portability – export your business data in bulk (available in-app via the Toolbox > Export feature).
Withdraw consent – revoke camera or photo library permissions at any time via device Settings.
Complaint – lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children's Privacy

SellLog is designed for business use and is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Australian Privacy Act Compliance

We respect the obligations set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). In particular:

We collect only the personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions.
We do not disclose personal information to overseas recipients without taking reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in accordance with the APPs, or without your consent.
You may contact us to access or correct your personal information, or to make a privacy complaint. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

9. GDPR – European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to object to processing and the right to restrict processing. 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of SellLog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
